It happened again, suddenly. I found myself looking out over London. The skyline was familiar, yet suffused with a heaviness I could feel in my chest before I fully understood what I was witnessing. And then I saw it: Big Ben, that ancient tower that has marked the hours of a civilization for nearly two centuries, destroyed. Completely and utterly gone. The image moved through me not like a prophecy carved in stone, but like a warning. Like a door being shown to me so that I might understand what stands behind it, and choose whether or not it must be opened.

What came next was stranger and more luminous than the destruction itself.

The field showed me what looked like old Hollywood film reels, the vast, physical kind that would unspool across a projection room floor, curling outward in great loops. Two stones rested on this film, one large and one small, their weight pressing down into it. And I was shown something quiet and precise: that if you allow the film to curve downward, the weight of those stones pulls everything in a particular direction. But if you curve the film upward instead, something shifts. The stones slide differently. The timeline moves. What seemed fixed becomes, suddenly, a matter of choice.

This is what the field was showing me. Not inevitability, but a node point.
