There are few wounds as piercing as the one left by someone who claimed to carry the light—and instead dimmed yours.

Over the years, I’ve walked beside many beautiful, awakened souls whose paths were rerouted by the very people they trusted most. Teachers, channels, coaches, or guides who promised healing, wisdom, and belonging… and instead created confusion, dependency, or energetic harm.

Sometimes it begins gently—with a dazzling light, powerful words, and the feeling that someone finally “sees” you. But over time, something shifts. Your inner knowing is bypassed. You begin to feel disconnected from yourself, like you’re always reaching for answers that never fully land.

And instead of becoming stronger, you become smaller. Drained. Doubtful of your own intuition.

This is the shadow side of spiritual awakening that few speak about.
But it’s one we must name if we are to heal it.
